The Kidney Princess

Hi Everyone!

Thank you for taking a moment to check out my blog that I hope will document this crazy life of mine. I was diagnosed with Chronic Renal Failure in 1996, had a living-donor kidney transplant in 1997 (thanks to my AMAZING Uncle Joe), and I am back on hemodialysis and have been since April of 2007. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and if any of my experiences can help someone, then I want to use all means possible to do so! I am an open book, so please, feel free to ask me anything you wish. I will do the best I can to respond to you promptly.

I am a native Floridian. I love all things Disney, and am a lipstick junkie. I adore all animals, but especially my two Labs, Macy and Gunner.

I try to stay as positive as possible, but we all have our days. If you stick with me, I am sure you will read your fair share of whininess. Above all, I want to be truthful. I want to share my authentic experience. I am looking forward to seeing old friends on here and meeting new ones! ❤
